Certificate IV in Security Risk Management

Your Introduction to a new career as a security consultant. Designed for people who want to gain employment as security consultants, the SECTA Certificate IV in Risk Management satisfies the stringent standards required by the NSW Government and enables you to obtain a 2A Security Consultant License. (Provided you can satisfy the S.I.R.)

As a security consultant, you need to be able to respond to new risk management issues such as public liability, increasing incidents of internal and external fraud, and rapid changes in technology. To ensure that you have the up-to-date training to respond to these new issues in risk management, the SECTA Certificate IV course provides comprehensive training in electronic security and cash in transit.

Crowd control is another important segment of the SECTA Certificate IV course. Topics covered include OH&S compliance, Liquor Industry Act, Noise Levels, Crowd Situation Analysis, Barrier Control, Security Fencing and Duty of Care.

The new Occupational Health & Safety Regulation 2001, which formally introduce Risk Management into the NSW regulatory framework, will be covered extensively throughout the course.
