Apply First Aid is a Nationally Accredited course with great emphasis on both a practical and common sense approach. Most industry and Government standards require you to update the basic first aid course every 3 years and the CPR component every 12 months. It's designed to pass on knowledge, skills and the correct attitude necessary for giving proficient care to the ill or injured until an ambulance or specialist medical help arrives.
Target: The Senior First Aid Course is geared especially for: Airlines, Nursing, Hospitality, Mining, Construction, Heavy industry, Police, Correctional services, Security, Defence force personnel, Schools, Gymnasium, Sportspeople, Child care centers, Surf lifesavers, Swimming centres and Maritime facilities.
Objectives: course provides you with competencies to perform emergency first aid to accident victims and casualties. It also provides the first aider with basic skills to assist with injured or ill persons in the home or your workplace.
Prerequisite: Participants must be 14 years or older.

Course material provided by SECTA: Manual, assessment sheets and all resources required for practical tuition.
Student to provide: Pen, paper and ID
Certificate: Once a participant has successfully completed this course they will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the Nationally recognised unit of competency from the Health Training Package
Duration: 8 Hours (the first aid trainer will instruct in practical demonstrations, role play & emergency scenarios)
Times: 8.30 am - 4.30 pm (enrolment 8am).
Cost: $125 per participant.
Dates: Every Wednesday or Saturday.
Venue: Level 1, 44 South Street, Granville (2 minutes walk from Granville Railway Station)
