NSW Provisional Security Licence Course for:

Class 1A – Unarmed Security Guard, mobile & Static

Class 1C – Doorperson, Crowd Controller

Class 1G – Loss Prevention, Undercover

As of the 5th July 2010 SECTA has been conducting a Certificate II (CPP20207) course in Security Operations. This course provides you with the basic knowledge required to commence work as an unarmed static, mobile patrol guard, crowd controller and loss prevention officer. The course is a mandatory requirement for new entrants to the NSW security industry. At the end of this course you will be able to apply for a Provisional Licence and will be able to commence work. Once you receive your Provisional Licence you have 12 months to complete the additional training and 2 workplace assessments required for an unrestricted 1A/C/G licence.

Target Audience: People who are seeking a career in Security guarding, Sporting and Concert Events, Airport & Maritime, Loss Prevention & Undercover, Hotel, Club & Liquor Industry.

Duration: 80 Hours - 7 Days & 5 evenings (refer to Timetable)
